Cloud Pages Blocked

Cloud pages are getting blocked when sending emails via journey builder :

This occurs when the link that you are sending are unsecure, specially if you don't have SSL enabled for your cloud pages.

If you have observed in Outlook, link embedded with "href"  are wrapped with "safesecure" links and when you click on the link, safe secure runs through the URL to identify if the link is redirecting to a safe and secure environment.

If the link is unsafe, it will block the redirection and block the URL. This is for mail servers.

Now, coming to secured VDIs, like company machine, they enable proxy to secure the connection. If you click on your browser settings, and type proxy , and if its enabled for you. You can enter the cloud page URL as exception and will allow redirections but most organization disable this for users except admins. If this is happening with some organization, then you need to get in touch with them to white list the IPs for your marketing cloud domains.

For enabling SSLs for images is related to downloading images in emails and browser.

Same principle applies, if the image URLs are not secure mail server will not allow to download the images. When emails are delivered, images are blocked from downloading automatically. You have to right click at the pre-header section and click on download.

This security has also caused some leakages to _open data views. When Images are blocked, and the mail server tries to identify if the email it received from secure IPs , it scans through the email and many a times it has been observed that _click gets recorded but for the same jobid there is no recorded open in _open data views
